I don't know where to bring this up, so I'll do it here.

We need to talk about the new Mars ad, the one with McEnroe. It's the biggest waste of dollar I have ever seen. The whole team behind it should be fired and never be allowed to work in advertising again.

There.

Hello all,

Check out the superb topical ad plugging the Paris Hilton interview on CNN. It was done by DDB Auckland.

Just go to the ESSENTIAL LINKS section on this blog to skip over to the New Zealand one. Well worth a look.

Yay, can't wait to see all the Australian work win again.

AWARD must be the most bias show on earth. Why don't you just keep it in Australia.

Mars McEnroe is quite messed up... on so many levels. I fell off my chair with nausea. Who was responsible?!? lying low hoping it wouldn't get brought up I bet.

Michael, perhaps you could drop a line to DDB Auckland and get that 'Paris on Prison' ad on the CB Blog.

One of the best newspaper ads we've seen in a long time.

I bet they think it's a great campaign, first Bruce Lee, and now McEnroe. There's enough bagging on the blog as it is, but in this case we need to talk about it, hell, I need to talk about it.

Everything is shit about it - the script, the idea, the execution.

Everything.

And it must have cost heaps.

They have a Melbourne office.

Don't know if they had anything to do with it.

nitro, they have been involved in some seriously bad work - the work they do for nike is just terrible.

but can't blame them for the mars fiasco. mars are rotten to work with. I spent 2 years on that shit. did my mind in.
