The MacRae's are great blokes and good on them for having a go but they need some help with their performance direction. I'd hate to sit through two hours of the hammy and weak stuff they have directed so far. They also came up against some stiff competition with the stunningly classy piece of film that Gordon created last week, I think it well outshon the MacRae's piece.

right on 2:23. Don't want to be mean spirited as have to applaud anyone having a go... but I suspect they're getting through with the support of mates and blogs like this more than anything. Nice guys and all sure, but not sure I could sit through 2 hours in a cinema with them at the helm.

2.23pm/2.24pm....you're kidding me....I'm not sure if you have been watching the whole way through but the MacRaes are so far ahead of the pack with regards to directing and professionalism. And for the record, I have no idea who they are and if they are good blokes.

2.23 - And you are?
(Just in case when they're shooting their film they need some help with performance direction)

2.24 - at least they've got mates.

People in glass houses, Phil who? 2.23 has written and directed three feature films and countless commercials and currently has two feature projects in development with the Weinstein Company, hense watching the series. I do not pass comment on things I know nothing about.

Methinks 2.23 must be Gordon or someone just as smarmy, the performance direction in the last short film was so far off the point was completely lost. It would've been brilliant if the loser bloke in it was trying to kill her or something worse, but apoparently he was trying to be romantic. Are you serious 'performance directing' my penis.

2:24 here saying hi to Phil Shearer. All I can say is if you like it so much go vote for them. No problem.

I'm happy for you have the right to like their stuff as much as I have the right not to. I think it's just a bit childish of you to resort to the schoolyard 'at least they've got mates' taunt. I believe this is a 'creative' forum... surely you can do better than that.
