DEAN HUNT LEAVES PALACE TO RETURN TO PUBLICIS MOJO

CB hears Dean Hunt has returned to Publicis Mojo Sydney after a two year long stint teamed with Yanni Pounartzis at The Campaign Palace. Hunt (right) is now teamed with Alex Derwin. Meanwhile, the hunt is on for his replacement at The Palace, with the agency in a much stronger financial position to get a hot replacement after the Westpac and 3 wins in the last few months.

every month dean had a new tattoo added cunningly
planning his escape to mojo, all of which was missed
by the beady eye of warden fishcock. well planned dean!

I hate to say it but I really do think that this young man is making a big mistake.
The Palace is the best creative brand in the country - was when I was there and it still is today.
The recent new business wins of 3 and Westpac prove that the creative hotshop is hotter than ever.
I urge you Dean to think hard about your desision - I know Paul, he is a fair man. I am sure he would have you back if you asked him.
Do you really want to go to a little boutique place like Mojo? Sure they pick up creative awards for some of their clients (for what that’s worth - NOTHING!) but it’s not really a proper agency is it?
I know I talked with them there about a year ago about taking a job there and they were on a completley different page to me!
If I was you I would stay put and count down the days until you get the prize opportunity to do a follow up to your red meat ad (my favourite of the year so far...)
Good luck with you decision.

I agree. that red meat ad was genius. I really liked the bit where sam neil walks through the sliding door. well played.

For fuck sake the skidmark of this blog - Sydney Suit - is back...

Listen mate, we made it pretty clear to you last time we are not interested in you tripe comments about 'research being king' etc.
Don’t you have some PowerPoint crap to write.
Piss off and leave this forum to people who know what creative work is and how to devise it.
Whatever kind of crap will you be coming out with next - shining praise for the latest St.George campaign or Ferrero Rocher TVC?

Cock.

Good luck with YOUR decision, not YOU decision. Sydney Suit is back (I missed you) and no wonder "little boutique" Publicis Mojo (which is more than twice the size of The Palace - you are so out of touch, pal) were on a completely different page if you spell completely, COMPLETLEY.

The WPP owned Palace did win 3 and Westpac, but only by offering their services for fees far below that which competitors were prepared to go.

And the last time The Campaign Palace was the best creative brand in the country was almost a decade ago, more precisely the day Warren Brown, Matthew Melhuish and Paul Fishlock left to set up BMF. The Paul that came back is not the same person.

Well excuse me 4:56 if I make the odd typo while adding to this site.
I have other things to do than just check my speed typing...
Why are you so sour about their win? If I had a dollar for every time I have heard the 'they only won it because they dropped their fees' reason from someone at the losing agency I would be richer than I already am.
You are obviously a failed creative who could not ever get a job at the Palace - Paul knock you back did he?
And as for the odd comment that the Palace was only good when Warren and Paul were there. Well blow me down If I have ever heard such rot!
If they were so good then why has BMF only done good work for charity accounts?

Sydney Suit.

I'm sure the creatives whose work sydney suit was going to undersell to the client would like to know who the little cunt is. Do us all a favour and name him so his sorry ass gets fired. It's hard enough getting work through without friendly fire from ass monkeys like him.

Bad day in despatch big guy?

The fact is you can't tell who is posting can you superman?

You had a little fit and said you could...but you can't

Prove me otherwise...who am I?

Stand by for excuses from junior boy.

I'm betting we hear no response...safer that way for a fuckwit with no guts.

After that we will hear "well if you are so smart, why are you anonymous?" The answer is. I'm not putting shit on anyone.

Quite right. Nothing we hate more than a suit, than a twat from despatch. C'mon dick brain, now that you've reinvented dynamic ip, who am I?

Sorry was that silence I heard? Thought so.

When John Singelton prints this blog out and shows it to his clients, he will use it as further proof that the people writing australian advertising don't give a fuck about anything but winning awards. He will say ,that in most creatives opinions the client is nothing but a pawn in the pursuit of personal glory.

Kiwi's, although shameless scammers, have a better handle on this. And how to sell it in.

Now, get back to work in the studio.

ok, if sydney suit is real we can still hunt down his armani wearing ass and kill him. Let's look at what we know:

1. he's a he
2. he's a suit in Sydney
3. he's a cunt
4. he's angry and doesn't like creatives (possibly a ginger)
5. he drives a jag
6. he's hung like a baby carrot (probably)
7. he's 40 plus (deducted from the way he talks of knowing warren)
7. he can't sell any good ideas

ok, that doesn't narrow it down much but it's a start.Keep an eye out for him in your agency, probably a big multinational like JWT, patts - he wouldn't last long anywhere good. Let's hunt down this fucker and beat him to death with foam board.
